Damn you, Fate! [27 Dec 2009|09:08am] evilgrins [ mood | sick ] Sis had the crud when she visited, she got it from de niece. Wasn't too worried as I've got one helluva tough immune system. Still, I now have de crud though not as bad as she did. Feels like a dry scratchy throat, mild burning, and the nose acted up a little this morning. Still, nothing too bad. Trying to work out if it was due to the long drive, 'trapped' in a car with both of them, up to Marin County for Dad's xmas festival...or that I stole a pillow from the guest bedroom when they weren't here the night before. Usually when they're all visiting I crash in the living room. There's a couch bed there but I find the floor more cozy so I setup a sleeping bag and some blankets. Was sorta lacking for a decent pillow so....you see. Think I may've grabbed my Sister's pillow. Oops. 2 comments|post comment

Followup: That bit up there has been my standard XMAS text for the last couple years, excepting this time around I sent it to here & Twitter too. It usually results in some amused chatter, sarcastic commentary, and a few rude comments about the demand for a present. I see it as the dichotomy between good and evil. On the one hand it's an open and joyful greeting, displaying the best part of the season. The other is the more commercial and greedy part, a little bit o' Scrooge with my Snoopy. Toying around with changing it next year. Course, I think I said as much last year too. post comment
